With just three weeks to go former Miss South Africa Natasha Joubert is ready to walk down the aisle and say “I do”.
Exactly one year after Joubert got engaged she celebrated the day with a bridal shower, with her closest girlfriends, including top media personality Bonang Matheba.
Matheba and Joubert formed their relationship when Matheba hosted the beauty pageant and the two worked together on Miss South Africa Organisation’s television show “Crown Chasers”.
The theme for Joubert’s bridal shower was tying the knot, ahead of her nuptials to long-time partner Enrico Vermaak in March.
Joubert’s guests were all dressed in shades of pink for the special occasion and she pulled all the stops for her outfit, done by Jolache Couture, who is also making her wedding dress.
Joubert has a special relationship with luxury designer Jolandie Fouche who also made the dress she wore for her final walk as Miss South Africa.
Leading up to her big day, Joubert has been in celebration mode, from an elaborate five-day bachelorette party at Bakubung Bush Lodge in Sun City to a pink bridal shower.
One might ask, is there a difference between a bridal shower and a bachelorette party? Well, there is.
According to wedding company Zola, bridal showers are meant to prepare the bride-to-be for her future life as a married woman, whereas a bachelorette party is meant for the bride to de-stress, celebrate, and enjoy her present pre-married life.
Joubert’s bachelorette included an entire getaway with a 'Bikini’s and Martini’s' pool party and a “Sequence & Spritzers” cocktail night.
