Controversial businesswoman and TV personality Shauwn Mkhize entered the month of December on a headline making note with her tax affairs making front page news - one that saw her withdrawing from actively posting on Instagram.
However, since the festive cheer is in full swing, the media personality has shared with her 3.6 million followers her family’s Christmas card.
Mkhize and her children, Sbahle and Andile Mpisane, along with his wife Tamia and their children Miaandy, Messiah and Andile’s two children with DJ Sithelo Shozi, Flo and Coco went all out for the special photoshoot.
“Family, the greatest gift of all 🎄🎄🎄. Merry Christmas,” she wrote.
The reality TV star also shared snippets of Christmas morning with her grandchildren as they opened their presents under the Christmas tree.
“Christmas morning with my babies , Priceless moment,” she captioned the video.
Many of Mkhize’s supporters gushed over the family’s Christmas photoshoot, commenting on how good it was to see them all together.
Kgabofm said: “I give @kwa_mammkhize her flowers 💐she’s the best grandmother for her grandchildren.”
Mkhize’s return to posting on Instagram comes after her brief break since the raid on her homes by South African Revenue Service in late November.
Over 40 firearms, loads of ammunition, and luxury vehicles were some of the items confiscated from Mkhize’s properties in Durban, Pietermaritzburg, and Johannesburg during a raid by Sars.
Sars clamped down on Mam'Mkhize after being granted a preservation order and a search-and-seizure warrant by the Durban High Court.
The orders were obtained to prevent the dissipation of realisable assets, which could hinder the collection of taxes, and to secure evidence of potential non-compliance with tax laws administered by the SARS Commissioner, the nation’s tax-collecting authority said.
