On November 30, Uncle Waffles was supposed to perform live in Kenya at the Ask Dome but couldn’t due to poor management.

According to “Pulse Live,” chaos erupted at the venue, leading to concertgoers being sprayed with teargas. As a result, Waffles could no longer perform.

Taking to social media, the Amapiano star expressed her disappointment to the organising team who failed to ensure the safety of not only the artists but the guests as well.

“I am extremely disappointed and shattered by the way ‘For The Love of Amapiano’ handled this event, which is something I have been looking forward to for a while.

“From sound issues even before my performance, to my team being mishandled, this wasn’t something I expected at all,” said the “Madibuseng” hitmaker.

She added that she was even more disappointed at how the security handled her fans, who were pushed around and asked the organisers to do better next time.

“To the event organisers, you have not only disappointed me but you have also let down 10 000+ people who came out in support of this event,” Waffles said.

“I urge you to do better if you have any desire to continue putting events together in the future.”

While the event organisers have not yet responded, Waffles’ fans said they hope to see her again at another event with better management.

“Kenyan event organisers need to get their act right because this is disappointing. Hopefully, next time she comes it’s better,” said @Koosangl.

Another supporter, @kimyamiyaki, said: “Kenyan event organisers strike again. Go to school guys and learn how to do it the right way.”
