South African businesswoman Rachel Kolisi took to Instagram to share that she achieved a milestone in getting her first award since her matric prize giving.
Kolisi shared that she had received a special award at the Sport Industry Awards which were held at Vodaworld in Midrand, Johannesburg on Monday, December 3.
Rachel won the Sport Lifetime Community Award.
“The last time I received an award was my matric prize giving! 😅” she captioned a series of pictures posted on Instagram.
“Incredibly grateful. And there is no way it would have happened without my @kolisi_foundation team, who are the most committed and hard working people I’ve ever met. Thank you #SIA2024 was an amazing night! Honoured to have been there, she added.
Kolisi made a special mention to her brother Joel, her forever plus one, who was her date for the award ceremony. For her big night, Kolisi once again worked with stylist Gina Bennett and wore a Style Rotate dress.
Kolisi’s followers showered her with congratulatory messages in her comment section.

Other big winners at the Sport Industry Awards include; Springbok rugby player Ox Nche for Sport Personality of the year Award and soccer legend Lucas Radebe was honoured with the Sport Lifetime Achievement Award.
