Musician Sizwe Alakine, also known as Reason, publicly defended his love interest, rapper Gigi Lamayne, by calling out “Piano Pulse” podcast hosts Thakgi Ledwaba and Sfiso Ndlovu.
As the clips of the moment Sizwe Alakine, whose real name is Sizwe Moeketsi, made his unannounced stop and gave the hosts a piece of his mind, went viral, Gigi Lamayne also reacted to the buzz online.
Gigi Lamayne took to X and wrote a simple one-word that let all her fans know how she felt about her man publicly defending her. “Mine,” wrote the “Fufa” hitmaker.

Engaging with her followers on X, who joked that Gigi Lamayne would be waiting at home to give Sizwe Alakine his reward for standing up for her, she posted a video of herself dancing along to Beyoncé’s “Dance for You”.
Musicians Gigi Lamayne and Sizwe Alakine also known as Reason, have quietly pushed their relationship since last year. The two rappers have been loving each other in private, attending entertainment events around Johannesburg.
The two lovebirds have been bothering no one with their relationship and in their bubble releasing music together.

That is until Ledwaba and Ndlovu in a previous episode had too much to say about Gigi Lamayne being Sizwe Alakine’s girlfriend, leading him to pull up unannounced to a recording and get a few things off his chest.
Ledwaba and Ndlovu called Lamayne, a “downgrade” from Sizwe Alakine’s former girlfriend and baby mama, Luthando “Loot Love” Shosha.
Ndlovu asked a hypothetical question: “Let’s say I’m an artist, our relationship was very well-known, and now that we are separated, I downgrade instead of getting a hotter girl. Which one would you go with?”
