“The Amazing Race at the Mall” will consist of teams of two who will race against time and each other in a high-energy challenge that combines both physical endurance and mental agility.
The organisers promised that participants are in store for a fascinating set of missions that will take them across every area of the mall.
From deciphering clues to navigating interactive challenges in various stores, each task is designed to test problem-solving skills while ensuring a fun-filled experience.

Spring It On!
The tenants and management of Glenwood Village Shopping Centre are celebrating the change in season with a spring-themed family-day.
The event will be filled with a morning fashion show, children's activities, cake decorating sessions, storytelling, an arts and crafts hub, live music and various tenant in-store promotions.
Meanwhile, from 10.30am to 11.30am, the library will host art lessons and storytelling sessions for kids.
The fashion show starts at 11am and will see women, who work at the centre, strut their stuff in bespoke garments from The Fifth 031.
The store is a collective of local designers who make limited edition smart casual, special occasion and evening ensembles.
Carol’s Home Industry will also be hosting cup cake decorating sessions from 10am to 12pm, while the Licks and Snuggles Pet Shop will have a colouring station where the little ones can create colourful pet-themed art.
Theatre personality and singer, Gary McKenzie will add to the fun-filled day by singing spring tunes.
Steve King from the Glenwood Village Shopping Centre said: “Increasingly we understand the need to nurture a sense of neighbourhood in places where we gather and what better occasion to celebrate our shared community, than the beginning of spring!”

“Music en Masse 2024”
A participative and fun orchestral concert is set to take place at the DLI Hall.
Organised by the The British Cultural and Heritage Association, the “Music en Masse 2024” invites anyone who can read and play music of any age and culture to be a part of the “the biggest orchestra ever seen in Durban”.
The concert will feature a public performance by a massed orchestra, under the baton of Russell Scott, which aims to serve the interests of the arts, culture and musical education in Durban.
There will also be interludes by guest artists, a pipe band and a pre-performance programme by marimba players.
The vision is to provide a platform for all musicians to develop their skills, provide an opportunity for amateur musicians to play as part of a full orchestra in an official concert and to facilitate the advancement and development of cultural activities and the arts.
Cheri Steenberg, co-ordinator from the British Cultural and Heritage Association said: “We are delighted to be able to prove a unique afternoon function for the entertainment of Durban residents.
“This contributes to the development of the arts in KZN by making the concert a participative afternoon of support for young musicians and in so doing, stimulating an interest in and an enthusiasm for orchestral music in Durban.”
