In celebration of the spring season, the Glenwood Village shopping centre is celebrating the change in season with a spring-themed family day on Saturday, September 14.
The event promises to be an amazing experience, with a diverse range of activities that will accommodate all ages.
In a statement, the organisers said these activities include a free morning fashion show of women’s garments, children’s activities, cupcake decorating sessions, storytelling in the library, an arts and crafts hub, live music and many more.
Starting the morning off on a stylish note, there will be a free fashion show featuring bespoke women’s garments from The Fifth 031.
For the children’s activities, the little ones will unleash their creativity at the arts and crafts hub hosted by Glenwood Village Hardware. From colourful art supplies to inspiring artworks on display, the event promises a great chance for them to explore their artistic side.
There will also be cupcake decorating sessions where people can try their hands at creating delicious and visually appealing treats.
Adding to the spring setting, Durban’s very own Gary McKenzie will be serenading the attendees with spring tunes, setting the perfect backdrop for the day's festivities.
With free entry, there will be spring plants, flowers and bouquets on sale, and many of the shops will have spring specials and promotions.
