Minnie Dlamini and Dr Brian Monaisa have officially ended their relationship following online speculation about cheating allegations.
Monaisa took to Instagram on Monday, April 21, to confirm that the breakup rumours are indeed true, but denied the cheating allegations that Dlamini was embroiled in.
He released a statement and said, “Ms Dlamini and I had a beautiful relationship which sadly came to an end purely for personal reasons which had nothing to do with infidelity by either party. Whilst our romantic relationship has come to an end, there remains mutual respect between Ms Dlamini and I.”
He further shared that the circulating rumour that Dlamini cheated on him is not true and described it as “malicious” and has the potential to taint Dlamini’s reputation.
The former couple first started by removing each other’s pictures on their social media platforms, which fans noticed and sparked a rumour that they may have gone their separate ways.
However, that is not all. While on vacation in Maputo, the celebrity plastic surgeon shared a picture of two women standing side-by-side of a motorcycle with cardboard that had a message which read, “I’m sorry Brian, I’ll never cheat again.”
Fans quickly assumed that Dlamini had cheated on him.
Due to the post, Dlamini faced public backlash and scrutiny as many social media users criticised her for allegedly cheating on Monaisa.
During happier times, Monaisa and Dlamini were not ones to shy away from boasting about their love for one another.
After confirming their relationship on Instagram in February, Monaisa would often share snaps of his “girl” and went on to buy her a blue Porsche for Valentine’s Day.
They went on multiple vacations together, and Dlamini also threw a lavish birthday party for Monaisa.
Dlamini has not addressed the allegations nor confirmed the breakup on any social media platforms.
