Paris Fashion Week has been in full swing since the beginning of March, with some of the biggest names in fashion and music gathering for a whirlwind of runway shows, presentations, and parties taking over the streets of France.

One of these soirees was hosted by Chioma Nnadi, the head of editorial content at British "Vogue".

At the event, South African global star Tyla got to celebrate her cover debut in the magazine's March issue at an intimate soirée at Bar des Prés by Cyril Lignac.

The British "Vogue" cover is one of Tyla’s biggest career milestones as she is the first South African artist to bag the coveted spot.

The 23-year-old singer was spotted in Jean Paul Gaultier couture surrounded by her team as they celebrated the occasion.

She beamed with pride as she danced and sang along to her top-charting hit “Push 2 Start.”

During the celebration, the “Water” hitmaker made a speech, thanking everyone who contributed to the success of the night.

“It’s literally insane. I remember just looking at all the Vogue covers when I was younger and just wishing one day that I would grace any cover of Vogue, and I’m so blessed to be able to be on the cover of British 'Vogue' and the cover is very sexy,” she exclaimed.

She proceeded to thank everyone who made the cover possible, including Anna Wintour and her entire team.

Tyla also took to her Instagram to show gratitude to everyone once again, including her fans and wrote: “I'm beyond thankful for this moment. Thank you, Anna, Sergio, Chioma, Vogue, and Team Tyla, and thank you, Tygers.”

The excitement around Tyla's cover has been building for weeks. Back in February, she made an appearance at Jennifer Hudson's show, where she got an exclusive sneak peek at her cover feature.

In another viral moment, Tyla showcased her cooking skills for Vogue’s “Now Serving” series, where she whipped up her favourite South African dish, pap and boerewors with chutney.

The video made her local fans proud and inspired to make their own, while it gave her fans from different parts of the world a glimpse into her heritage and personality.
