Bloemfontein - Two men have been arrested in Bloemfontein for a string of crimes in Gauteng and the Free State, police said on Monday.
The men, aged 33 and 34, were arrested at a police roadblock on Friday during a crime prevention operation, Captain Chaka Marope said.
They were found driving a car reported stolen in Sandton, Johannesburg, in February. Equipment commonly used for breaking into vehicles was found in the car's boot.
The two would appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court on Tuesday. They were being sought in both provinces for various crimes, including theft out of cars, armed robbery, and bribery. - Sapa
