Bloenfontein - A case against a Boshof man accused of raping his two daughters over many years was postponed by the Bloemfontein Sexual Offences Court on Wednesday.
The matter was postponed to November 20 for further investigation, said Free State National Prosecuting Authority spokesman Phaladi Shuping.
He said the 55-year-old man faced two counts of raping his daughters, now aged 26 and 21, over the past 10 years.
Shuping said the man apparently started raping his 26-year-old daughter in 2002 and her younger sister in 2007.
The incidents happened until his arrest this week.
The investigation would also look into the allegation that the eldest daughter gave birth to children resulting from the rapes.
Shuping said the father’s apparent reign of terror prevented the girls' mother, 50, from reporting the crimes.
The matter came to the attention of the police when the eldest daughter told a community leader what was going on.
The man was arrested.
