A Tweeling man who threw stones at a municipal worker has been sentenced to 30 months' imprisonment by the Frankfort Magistrates' Court, police said on Wednesday.
Free State police spokesman Sergeant Philani Mvuna said Jabulani John Mosia, 37, assaulted Samuel Motsoeneng, 29, while he was on the job, for no apparent reason last year.
“Mosia pelted the complainant with stones and as a result Motsoeneng sustained serious bodily injuries.”
He would not get parole and was also declared unfit to possess a firearm. - Sapa
